Sometimes, you dont want windows to use hibernate or sleep, so what do you do? Let’s show you how to enable or disable Hibernate on most windows system.
To make hibernation unavailable, follow these steps:
[list style=”check”][li]Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.[/li] [li]In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.[/li] [li]When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.[/li] [li]At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate off, and then press Enter.[/li] [li]Type exit, and then press Enter to close the Command Prompt window.[/li] [/list]To make hibernation available, follow these steps:

at the left bottom of your screen and then choose Command Prompt (Admin).
